Mountain State Telephone and Telegraph Company Gallup (later Zuni) Street team, Denver, about 1917. The Mountain State Telephone and Telegraph Company supported several baseball teams in 1917, including Gallup Office, Main Office, South Office, and York Office teams. Founded in 1911, the company became U.S. West Communications in 1991. In 2000, Qwest Corporation bought the company, which is today owned by CenturyLink.
