PCCL4368 Born and raised in Boston, George E. Mullare came to Colorado in 1900. He settled first in Denver, where he took a job with the Colorado Packing Company. He then went to work for Armour & Company, a job he held for thirty-one years. While employed by Armour he worked in Portland, Oregon, as well as Denver and Trinidad, Colorado. In 1926 he entered the mortuary businesses, operating Mullare Mortuary at 216 East Main Street in Trinidad. The business continued to operate after Mullare’s death in 1935.
